This book was required reading for my Intro to Enology course and it gives a good overview of the processes involved in winemaking. The writer is British, so it focuses mainly on European technologies and winemaking laws and legislation, which is a bit limiting for readers in the US, but I found it very informative nontheless. The book is very readable and easy to understand for the non-scientist and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in wine.
