How to find eligible items

You can locate items eligible for Super Value Shipping in a number of easy ways:

• Browse our site and watch for items displaying the SVS truck.
• Search for only items that are SVS eligible.
• Use our Ship for Free search box.
• Use our Advanced Search page and click on the check box "Find Only Books Eligible For Free Shipping".
• Watch the Narrow Your Results feature at the top of pages as you search or browse for items. When listings qualify, you'll see the SVS truck and an Eligible for Free Shipping link. Click it for SVS items.
• Use the Browse boxes on our pages. When listings qualify, you'll see the SVS truck and a Show Only Eligible Items link at the bottom of the Browse box. Click the link for SVS items.

How to get free shipping

You can obtain free Super Value Shipping via these easy steps:

1. Find items displaying the Super Value Shipping truck.
2. Add to your cart SVS-eligible items totaling at least $39.
3. Select a U.S. shipping address during checkout.
4. Select Super Value Shipping as your shipping method.
5. Place your order.

Free shipping charges are automatically applied to your order. However, if your cart contains even one item that isn't SVS eligible, you will be charged for that item's shipment. Learn more.

How to get discount shipping

Pay the standard shipping rate for the first item displaying the Super Value Shipping truck and then get discounted shipping for each additional SVS item that you purchase. Order more than $39 worth of SVS-eligible items, and we'll ship them for free.

You can obtain discounted Super Value Shipping via these easy steps:

1. Find items displaying the Super Value Shipping truck.
2. Add to your cart two or more SVS-eligible items.
3. Select a U.S. shipping address during checkout.
4. Select a shipping method. (Review our shipping rates.)
5. Place your order.

Discount shipping charges are automatically applied to your order. However, if your cart contains even one item that isn't SVS eligible, you will be charged for that item's shipment. Learn more.

Independent seller charges

Items shipped by our independent sellers are not eligible for Super Value Shipping. As a result, shipping charges are applied to items listed by independent sellers, even if other items in your shopping cart do qualify for Super Value Shipping. However, you may receive consolidated shipping discounts when you order more than one item from the same seller.

When you check out, free or discount shipping is automatically applied to all qualifying SVS items, and non-SVS items are assessed our published shipping rates.

Automated SVS tally

When you place SVS-eligible items in your shopping cart, look for a message at the top of your cart. We'll let you know how close you are to receiving free shipping. Also, free or discount shipping will automatically be calculated when you check out.

Shipments outside the U.S.

Super Value Shipping is not available for orders shipping outside the United States.

SVS vs. Expedited method

If you place more than one item displaying the Super Value Shipping truck in your shopping cart, you'll be given the option of selecting Expedited and other shipping methods during checkout. The quoted Expedited shipping rate will automatically be discounted because you'll be SVS qualified, but Expedited shipping is never free. Only the Super Value Shipping method is free; you'll see it as a shipping option during checkout once you've placed eligible items totaling at least $39 in your shopping cart.

Generally speaking, shipments sent via Super Value Shipping arrive as quickly as items sent via our standard method. Please refer to our shipping rates and delivery times for more specific information.
