I just uploaded a nice first edition of "Raven; the Untold Story of the Rev. Jim Jones and His People" by Tim Reiterman. This is probably still the best book about the Jonestown massacre and is scarce as a first in this condition.

Back to school season is definitely in full swing. I sell a few textbooks but mostly I sell the books that qualify as readings. For example classic novels such as Alan Paton's "Cry the Beloved Country". Also scholarly nonfiction such as Karen Armstrong's "Islam: A Short History". I have sold each of those titles this week. August brings the end of the relatively slow April through July period when all the school books have been bought and everyone is at the beach.... read more

Hello everyone. This will be an online diary of sorts. For the first time I have over 9,800 books listed-on my way to 10,000. Right now my operating principle for listing is "any 10, 000 books (within reason)". After that it will be time to upgrade the stock and work down the backlog. Already I have begun removing some of the low end low priced material and it feels good. The sales goal is 1 book per 1,000 listed per day i.e. an average of 10 books a day.
