Find of the DayPosted December 29, 2011I just uploaded a nice first edition of "Raven; the Untold Story of the Rev. Jim Jones and His People" by Tim Reiterman. This is probably still the best book about the Jonestown massacre and is scarce as a first in this condition.

I sell a few textbooks but mostly I sell the books that qualify as readings. For example classic novels such as Alan Paton's "Cry the Beloved Country". Also scholarly nonfiction such as Karen Armstrong's "Islam: A Short History". I have sold each of those titles this week. August brings the end of the relatively slow April through July period when all the school books have been bought and everyone is at the beach or otherwise outside. I have been outside too but it is good to have an increase in sales. |
