Cuando a pocos anos del fin de siglo -apagados el fragor de las utopias y la explosion del feminismo- se propone que tal vez las mujeres y los hombres provengan de B+planetasB; diferentes. Nosotras que nos queremos tanto ilumina la relacion hombre/mujer desde una optica femenina inedita. Sea o no esta novela el retrato en clase de un sector de la sociedad chilena y sus vicisitudes de los ultimos treinta anos, su lectura nos enfrenta sin concesiones a los claroscuros de la condicion existencial de la mujer. Marcela Serrano nacio en Santiago, Chile. Licenciada en grabado en la Universidad Catolica, entre 1976 y 1983 incursiono en diversos ambitos de las artes visuales, con enfasis en instalaciones y acciones de arte (entre ellas body art). Sus tres primeras novelas --Nosotras que nos queremos tanto (1991; Alfaguara, 1996), Para que no me olvides (1993) y Antigua vida mia (Alfaguara 1995)-- suman ya numerosas ediciones. Para que no me olvides obtuvo en 1994 el Premio Municipal de Literatura, en Santiago; Nosotras que nos queremos tanto, por su parte, fue galardonada ese mismo ano con el Premio B+Sor Juana Ines de la CruzB; , distincionconcedida por la editorial francesa Cote Femmes/Indigo y la Feria del Libro de Guadalajara (Mexico) a la mejor novela latinoamericana escrita por una mujer.
