'Making History' is a book that I have recommended to many, and would urge more to read. It is a book which i know i can always pick up and fall right into if ever i am bored. it does not overpower you with facts about the Nazis, but makes sure that you understand enough to get a feel for the fiction. the book has an interesting plot which does not revolve around the classic boredoms of others sci-fi novels, using possibilities and "whats if"-s instead of "in a galaxy far far away"-s. Stephen Fry writes in a way which makes you feel like you could just sit and read forever without ever having to put it down, if only it didn't come to an end. his characters welcome them into their lives and make you like them, and his style of writing is very personal and insightful and makes the events seem quite believable. i would recommend any Stephen Fry book to just about anyone, although i think that (at the moment) this one is my favourite.
