Artwork is simply the best
The most important factor in an anatomy atlas is how well the illustrations represent the real thing. As a surgeon I've looked at a lot of books on anatomy and this book (I own the third edition) has the best artwork I've seen -- vastly superior, in my opinion, to that in Gray's Anatomy or others.
