Very Helpful
I am a graduate nursing student and the required text for my class was very difficult to read and understand. Someone suggested the Guyton text to me, I ordered it and have found it to be extremely helpful and actually easier to understand than the required text.

Great book
Very well explained. It could help if it had more colorful pictures and hardly has any flow charts. Overall, good book to refer and keep it for life.....Amazing service from Alibiris.....keep up the good work.

know your guts
Guyton's textbook of Medical Physiology 8th Edition is an excellent resource. Whether you are a student or a knowledge seeker like myself, you cannot go wrong with this book. This book's presentation of the body's systems is layed out in consise sections for easy reference. If you are new to physiology I would suggest you search other texts on basic Anatomy and Physiology first. Guyton's Textbook of Medical Physiology is for the more advanced medical student or for those of you who have has previous exposure to basic anatomy and physiology. If you have been to the doctor and want to better understand your diagnosis or have loved ones who have specific illnesses this is an excellent resource to ais in the understanding of what systems of the body are interelated and how disease or injury affects your body.

Very useful book
This book is very helpful for me to re-understand about physiolgy of our body. When I was a student, I can not fully understand how our body works. With this book now in my hand, I try to take a long tour inside our body.
