Cyril Scott felt that if the Christian religion was to survive, its esoteric aspects must be presented to the reading public and not merely remain the knowledge of a select few. The Vision of the Nazarene reveals Jesus of Nazareth in a light hitherto unknown and unsuspected by most. It also gives the key to many of his teachings which have not been correctly understood.

For individuals who want to learn more about the Master Jesus and His explanations of Truth and untruth in this 21st century, this book is a MUST READ.
If the reader is at all touched by the obvious Truth in His words, he/she will start pondering into the actual activities of Humanity's current state of MIND.

A Sublime work
For anyone interested in spiritual matters, especially those of a more esoteric bent, but also for the more open minded Christian, there could be few more moving experiences than reading the words of Jesus himself, and that is what is contained within these pages. As a fan of Cyril Scott from his other works and one confident of his honesty and integrity, I have no doubt that he actually managed to contact Jesus and relay accurately the information given. The Parable of the Rope and the River is very moving and although the book takes on a reproving and, at times melacholy tone (opportunities missed, teachings altered, life story misinterpreted), it is still a work of great lyrical beauty and is both humbling, educational and uplifting. Like being taken back 2000 years and hearing the great Master - perfect man - speak. One cannot fail to be affected by this book. Definitely the one I would chose for my desert island. Try giving it to the vicar when he goes on holiday, he may come back a new man, or he might cancel your membership for good!
