This story leads one to initially "know" the finale'. However, one is surprised at how to get there. This story is heartbreaking to "watch" for the reader feels the heroine's pain. While the hero is true to form, his tenderness is shattering of stereo-typical males in romance novels. This man is like no other and the lengths he goes to for his love is unparalleled in any book I have read. It is a total love story to rival any Shakespearian idea. There is no woman alive who could hate a hero like this, even while disliking anything he does throughout the story. That the heroine comes to the same conclusion is a given, how she gets there is what this story is about.
