Jane Austin was exercising her "wordsmith" talents in this book. An excellent read to keep a writer's word choice skills in top form. Also, many phases are noted, that turned up in her later more commercially successful novels. The actual story is rather silly. She used story telling by letters to a friend, in this book. An unusual writing method.
