The issue of greed and self moderation was visited in the "Gimmie" part of the series. Since at Christmas time children are encouraged to want things its difficult not for them to turn selfish. The cubs want everything in sight. Sister Bear especially starts writing this extra long list that goes across several pages. This is an amusing christmas tale where it is the parents and not Santa who save Christmas for the cubs.
