He said, "Mom, if you really want to know what it's like over here, get a copy of "Thunder Run by David Zucchino, Mark Bowden. It's the best book I have read about a Armored Division in Iraq". I purchased the book over the internet and the day it come in, I couldn' t put it down. The book is very well written and heart breaking. It's a must read for anyone thinking about joining the Army.
