The copy I have in my hand is a 3rd edition Bantam mass market paperback printed in 1978. Ruler of the Range was initially serialized in the Saturday Evening Post in 1951, and Mr. Dawson had many of his novels first see light in that magazine. This story is a tale of mystery, as someone wanted Jeff Kindred's ranch bad enough to kill for it. His partner was already dead, and he had no idea who had done it, but he knew he would be next if he didn't do something soon. Once more Peter Dawson delivers in his fast paced, quick action style, in this "traditiional" western saga.
