Rush Wisdom manages to escape from Yuma prison after having been sent there for killing his brother in order to find the man who really did the crime. And the trail he follows leads him into places he never expected to find himself in. Published at a time when westerns still ruled the magazine market--this one was serialized in the Saturday Evening Post--Peter Dawson was at the top of his game when he wrote this story. It is full fledged, classic genre.
