A great introduction to the world of economics. It lays down the basics of consumer behavior, macroeconomics, and microeconomics. The book is formatted with "key concept" points, as well as "real world examples" and "technical jargon" that the reader is invited to skip through if uninterested.
While far from a college course, this "Dummies" book provides enough information, at least, to demystify the science.
