I love all of these books...for Dummies! I teach World History to all 9th graders and they are very hard to regroup and get excited about History...let alone...World History. This book breaks down the pieces that are easy to understand and a lot of tidbit History things that myself and my students never knew...for example...During the Black Plague when children would become sick and then drop down, eventually die...the song "Ring Around the Posey" is an rhyme that most children readily identify with...they lock hands, dance in a circle, and then at the end they all fall down...this is into reference of the Black Plague. I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it to all teachers who are looking for the ins and outs of making their unit interesting and satisfying!!!
