The way the author writes is so unique, I often find myself rereading passages just to hear his beautiful descriptions one more time. He weaves into his fictional world, real historical figures which takes the story to a different level. So far Mirror, Mirror has been my favorite of Maguires books, all of which are equally impressive. I highly recommend all of his books, but especially this one, to anyone and everyone. No need to be familiar with the original story of Snow White since he deviates from the old fairytale completely. Yet, since I was familiar with the story of Snow White, I found it very interesting to see how he twisted the old tale and gave it a fresh voice. Great book!!!
