This is a rewrite of the book "prison of Ice" originally written by Koontz under the name "David Axton". The world is in need of water, and it is discovered that the ice at the Artic is purer than any water we are drinking today. A group of scientists go to the icecap, drill holes in a large piece of the ice cap, set charges, and are ready to blast--in order to form a large iceberg. Some thing goes wrong and they find that a large piece of the icecap has already broken offf and they are floating on an iceberg. To make matters worse, someone in the party has started killing other members. Things get more complicated with the terrible environment trying to kill them too. Koontz further complicates things as only he knows how. The whole book is tense, and you won't want to put it down.
