This book creates a very believable, although hair raising story, about a very nasty secret governmental agency that tries to covery up their clandestine, secret research in biological warfare agents that gets out of hand and kills a group of boy scouts and their leaders on a winter camping trip in the high sierra's. The boy's parents are told the boys min-bus overturned, rolled down the mountain, and everyone was killed-- their bodies so mutilated, that in most cased the funerals were "closed caskets". After a year, one mother, Christina Evans, starts getting feelings that her son is still alive. Then things start to happen to her as if there is a poltergeist stalkin her. Then messages come to her in various ways and places that say NOT DEAD-NOT DEAD. She becomes convinced that her son is alive, and this book is about her search for her son.
