this book as with most of Judith Mcnaught Regency romances is a wonderful read - An all-out handsome lord with a temper to match who really has to learn how to trust. A beautiful, wilful girl to who also has to learn to love and trust. There is also intrigue and misunderstandings galore, and finally passion and devotion. Go on, knock yourselves out!

Misunderstandings, Miscommunications and Betrayal
What I like about this book is that the heroine is so loving and trusting even throughout all the turmoil in her life. She gets the short end of the stick in so many ways and still comes out on top! And her companion is the toughest lady I have ever read about that was not the main character. I loved reading about the fancy dress balls and elegantly clad men and women dancing to music. It is all so romantic and far-away sounding that it makes you forget your problems and relieves some of the stress of everyday life.
