The second section examines the uses of satellite technology in individual subjects. In geography and environmental studies, for example, remote sensing allows the capture and presentation of scientific data, invaluable for project work and action learning. The third section of the book looks at the response of different sectors and the final section discusses some legal and copyright issues and the resources needed to realize the impact of satellites on education.
