In the town of Bonanza being the marshal was a death sentence--two had already died--when Adam Collier was appointed mayor after the mayor died. There was a highly organized gang who robbed and stole and murdered anyone who opposed them. Collier was a fighter from way back, but he was now a family man, and that played into his decision to fight. Tough man, tough problem to solve, which got even harder when he learns that one of his friends is involved with the outlaws. Just another "western"? No, not by a long shot. Will Cook AKA Wade Everett is no ordinary writer; his skill goes way beyond the type printed in cheap magazines of the 1930's and 1940's. His work has substance of character. Try this one, I think you'll enjoy it.
