Science need not be dull and bogged down by jargon, as Richard Dawkins proves in this entertaining look at evolution. The themes he takes up are the concepts of altruistic and selfish behaviour; the genetical definition of selfish interest; the evolution of aggressive behaviour; kinship theory; sex ratio theory; reciprocal altruism; deceit; and the natural selection of sex differences. Preachers
The only thing worse than a preacher riding a hobby horse is a scientist trying to shoot the preacher's pony out from under him. I can almost excuse a Christian's lack of objectivity, because spirituality is such a subjective matter. However, when an evolutionist starts preaching, I have to ask,- why are you so concerned with winning this argument? Increasing the polarity that already exists between religion and science is so Eighteenth Century. Ketchup, Mr. Dawkins.
