To understand how to best care for my patient, I must understand what I can about the disease. This book helps to define the disease process and helps guide me to look at certain lab values, diagnostic tests, and other pertinent information. To know what is "normal" about a particular disease, this book helps simplify the information.

Great resource
Of the books required this semester this is the one I will keep and update ongoing. It is a treasure in the ease of which it explains the pathology. It provides highlights about each disease at the beginning of its presentation. It is a must!
