Brilliant investigative reporting that shows how the "power brokers' in the USA have misused the fundamental beliefs of Christianity to establish a world-wide network of the rich and powerful and politically connected. Jeff Sharlet exposes the threat to democracy and the Christian faith by those who would subvert the welfare of ordinary hard working Americans to keep power in the hands of a "chosen" few.

Scary
Scary book. The right wing is a collection of nutcases but in this case, they're organized along the lines of using poltical organization to forward their agenda. The classical case is the recent infiltration and domination during the benighted Bush administration. I for one don't want to be a fundamentalist Christian and don't want them telling me how to think or teach.
