Stefan Krause

Stefan Krause studied art history in Vienna and has held, among others, the Paul Mellon Visiting Senior Fellowship at the National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C. (CASVA). He is director of the Imperial Armoury section of the Kunsthistorische Museum in Vienna. His research focuses on the artistic and social significance of armour and weapons, particularly in the late Middle Ages and the Renaissance.
