Alan Rose
The Author: Born in 1939 in London, Alan Rose emigrated to the United States in 1963. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of the South (Sewanee) and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He returned to Britain after graduation and received his doctorate in French Studies from Lancaster University.
