Seller's Description:
Fair. TERRIBLE condition. Former library book, with stamps, ripped out card pockets, etc. Stained. NO dust jacket. Spine ends are threadbare. Book twists. Book is cocked. Top layer of paper on paste downs has been ripped. When card pocket on FEP was removed, took top layer of paper off. Same with old book cover, tape removed top layer of paper. Toned pages. Looks like bottom corner of book was dropped in a puddle, so the stain is evident from cover to cover. Splits in hinges between page signatures, but all pages remain attached. Book has had a hard life. Patricia Highsmith is highly collectible so we wanted to make this ratty copy available. 213 pps.
