This book contain excellent recipes and interesting commentary. The recipes which i have made, have all come out great and the instructions are clear and dimple. This is a must have book for the Kosher/Jewish Cooking enthusiast

Good, but not great
The anecdotes in this book are the highlight.
The recipes are okay, but I have 2 gripes.
First, there are no color pictures at all in the book, and no pictures at all of the food. Second, there are way too may celebrity recipes. I really don't care about what recipes these people like. I'm only interested in authentic recipes from the 2nd Ave Deli.
