As a text book it is extremely wordy and takes a long time to get to the point. It does explain things properly but there does not appear to be a great deal of logical progression in the way that it has been written so it is quite difficult to follow at times and this makes it hard to take notes from and makes scanning extremely difficult when time is at a premium.
