A great discussion of Linbeck's main points in The Nature Of Doctrine, and other essays, usually working around the separation he makes between the propositional, expressivist, and his assertion of the cultural-linguistic framework as the best way to build ecumenism and theological reflection on doctrine. Great interaction of a good spectrum of thinkers, especially from the ones (like Archbishop Rowan Williams) who both agree and offer criticism to bounce off of Lindbeck's assertions. For any student of post-liberal theology, from Frei to Lindbeck to Hauerwas, this now poorly named book offers much more insight than the trendy title suggests. Highly Recommended.
