This book was a true answer to prayer. It is a practical look at the importance of organizing and prioritizing one's time, especially as it pertains to the spiritual life. Our time spent quieting our thoughts to be connected to God is of utmost importance in order to run the rest of our lives successfully. MacDonald conveys this by relating his own struggles and trials. It is easy to read and speaks to the heart in layman's terms. It is not too long or drawn out concerning any one topic, concise and to- the- point, he effectively drives home the reality of our deep need for allowing God to be the one who gets the first and best of us. Only then can we be confident that our time is not wasted or squandered.
