My second reading on this book
I had originally borrowed this from the public library to get a feel for Johns writings. I really enjoyed it because its pretty basic and an easy to understand book. Not alot of junk thrown in but the necessities are there. Ortberg has started taking over my library the past 3 years. A great writer.

Simple Rules
This book is an interesting read. I have been looking at several books about the spiritual disiplines practiced by the church. John Ortberg took me to where I lived. Great Book.

An excellent choice
This book is an excellent guide to training in spiritual disciplines that make practical sense in life. John Ortberg presents the ideas with good examples from his on daily life so you can't help but get the message and be encouraged to take the steps to be a fuller servant of God

Awesome book!
I would recommend this book to anyone that has a desire grow deeper in their relationship with Christ and would like the daily disciplines in doing so.
