A Keeper.
Yet another good entry in the "Island Girl" series, "Tahitian Cardio" is slightly more moderate than the two Hula discs. The movement required of the obliques is larger and therefore takes a little more time to complete, slowing everything down just a little. I've seen it mentioned in other reviews that this isn't a cardio workout. Were we even doing the same DVD? My heart rate may not have been in my throat but it was definitely elevated. My theory for the perception of ease is that if one doesn't utilize the core muscles to drive the figure 8s, then the legs are going to be doing the work, which will lead to much less exertion. There are some elements here that will require a little practice, but I look forward to mastering them. That's the nice thing about this video; it's a challenge, but not so much that it's discouraging.
