I read and cook from a wide variety of cookbooks - primarily Italian. this book is lively, easy to use and the cuisine of Rome provided in such a fresh, interesting way that I have cooked meal after meal start to finish using it. generally Italian food fits a painful stereotype. this book opened up new flavors and techniques. I have bought several copies and have it for my guests to use in my house in Tuscany!!!
