This is the most complete and easy to use reference book on herbs and spices I have found---and I have many of them. It has excellent color photographs and complete information. I have given the book as a gift to several people interested in learning about herbs and spices---both those used everyday and the unusual.

Just enough
I use this book almost daily. It has just enough information to be useful without overwhelming me. But it too doesn't list the herbs in alphabetical order. Just seems to be more work to look it up in the index to see what page it is on.
