There's a particular pleasure in Baby Anne's onslaught, and the fact that she's an attractive young woman who's found a niche for herself in a field nearly monopolized by men certainly plays a role in this pleasure, even if only psychologically. As far as the particulars of this given mix, there aren't too many worth noting. Sure, you get some brand-name contributions from the likes of the Freestylers, Plump DJs, and Jackal & Hyde, but even these names are liable to mean little to you unless you're way into the breaks scene. So just know that the selections are solid from beginning to end and that you get an impressive production from Baby Anne herself, the title track (which is on a par with anything here) showcasing that this young lady is more than just a pretty face -- she's not only an ace DJ, but she's also a creative force well capable of producing her own music.
