Michael Civisca is a fine middle-of-the-road pop singer in the vein of Frank Sinatra. He swings, picks out good tunes, and has an appealing voice that sometimes resembles Sinatra's. Civisca does not pretend to be adventurous and mostly sticks to the melody and the lyrics, swinging conventionally with the assistance of pianist Bobby Jones' trio and a medium-size band. Mary Stahl joins Civisca for a vocal duet on "Too Young" and overall fans of this type of crooning will find this set to be of interest. ~ Scott Yanow, Rovi
