Looking at this set culled from 1973's Billboard charts, the music of the 1960s seems not to have existed. Included are no less than two Elton John songs, the bombastic album rock of Edgar Winter's fabulous "Frankenstein," and flinty R&B from Marvin Gaye and Billy Preston that didn't dance around its subject matter or drown it with innuendo.
