All it really is, actually, is a label sampler for artists recording for the various Sony Music subsidiaries, especially Sony Discos. Some of them -- Marc Anthony, Elvis Crespo, C Note, Cypress Hill, Julio Iglesias, Jr. -- are, or have recently become, known beyond the Latin charts, and there are occasional English-language performances, notably Iglesias' "One More Chance" and Barrio Boyzz' version of Foreigner's "I Want to Know What Love Is." But for the most part this is uptempo Latin music, something that has developed a considerable crossover appeal in the last year.
