Since at first she didn't succeed, it's try, try again for Carrie Bradshaw (Golden Globe winner Sarah Jessica Parker) when she gets another shot at romance with good-guy Aidan (John Corbett) in the comedy's fourth season. An invitation to the opening of a bar owned by Aidan and Steve (David Eigenberg) reunites Carrie with her lost love, and this time their relationship proceeds to the uncharted territories of cohabitation and -- gasp! -- engagement. Of course, cold feet may prevent Carrie from going where's she's never gone before, and their courtship is not without a physical confrontation -- namely a brawl between Aidan and Big (Chris Noth) at the former's house in the country. Meanwhile, marital woes continue for Charlotte (Kristin Davis), whose unquenchable desire to start a family leads to irreconcilable differences with Trey (Kyle MacLachlan). Guest stars for the season, which won a Golden Globe for Best Television Series: Musical or Comedy, include Margaret Cho, Alan Cumming, Craig Bierko, Jim Gaffigan, Frances Sternhagen, Ron Rifkin, Ed Koch, Heidi Klum, and Candice Bergen.
