PLOT: A mediterranean king and a musical troupe singer/performer fall in love under the moonlight and on picnics in the hillsides. His duty to country calls him away and his minister lies to the woman about the situation. Twelve years later they encounter each other again and the flame still burns.
RETURN ON INVESTMENT:8 of 10; This isn't a full blown musical extraveganza. It is just a nice little flick with some wonderfully staged romantic interludes. The dialogue is so good, they repeat each others lines to each other in the re-encounter to show they haven't forgotten a moment or word of their initial rapture.

ADDED NOTES: We knew Ezio could sing but I wonder if Lana's songs were dubbed? It didn't look like it, maybe it was a talent she never showed us before! And Debbie Reynolds does no singng or dancing here, just acting!
