if you ever seen silence of the lambs, you must see hannibal to see the complete story line. also see hannibal rising which shows how hannibal came to be, as a follow-up to the story line one needs to also see red dragon. this completes the story line. all movies are just great and would recommend all of them.

Except for the ending not matching with Mr. Harris's ending, this is an excellent movie in the Hannibal trilogy.

Gripping
I hope they make more of these. Hopkins is so many different characters, rediculous, sublime and in this role, monsterous. I was amazed when he sacrificed his hand for agent Starling. That act made him just slightly more human.
