A film with two such talented actors and set in a city like Paris should have delivered much more than aimless meandering across the screen. The underlying personal tensions between William Holden and Audrey Hepburn seem to have soured or tainted their interactions in front of the camera. And it's worth remembering that Holden's alcoholism was likely in full bloom by now. I'd much rather spend the two hours reading the New York Times.

Paris When it Sizzles
A very amusing story about a screen writer and his secretary who envision a screnplay that we see as they describe it. Audrey Hepburn is delightful as always.
