Allen plays Andrew, a Wall Street broker and eccentric inventor who is having frigidity problems with his wife Adrian (Mary Steenburgen). To enjoy this movie, you must sit through at least 8 hours of Ingmar Bergman movies to enjoy the satire of this film, including the movie it satires. You also must love Woody Allen, this is not a good first movie to see of his, however, after about 4 or 5 of them, this is pretty good. The cinematography of this picture is splendid as is the classical music score. However, there are no laugh out loud moments in this picture.
