High atop Mt. Crumpet, the Grinch (Carrey) observes the residents of Whoville joyously preparing to celebrate Christmas. The Grinch was born in Whoville years ago, but was shunned due to his scary appearance, and his unrequited love for Martha May Whovier has turned him bitter; the good cheer of the Whos has been a thorn in his side ever since. Another fabulous Jim Carey movie! Taking a well known Dr. Seuss story and making it a movie, can not be easily done. But in How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Jim Carey makes it look easy. the Grinch (Carey) try's to take Christmas away from Whoville, but Cindy Loo Who, who's no more than two, try's to give the Grinch reason not to. In this funny movie based on the classic book, you see it all come to life.
