Cliff hanger The House on the Cliff
Young readers will enjoy the courage and resourcefulness of Frank and Joe Hardy in this second in the series. Fenton Hardy, the boys' father, has disappeared while investigating a smuggling ring. Frank and Joe put together clues from a puzzling experience they had with friends at a deserted house in the country said to be haunted. With help from friend Tony Prito they finally rescue their father, but not without ups and downs including being captured themselves by dangerous men who will apparently stop at nothing to complete their evil schemes.
