"The Art of Persuasion" is the official banner of Pi Kappa Delta, the honorary debate fraternity of which I was President of my local university chapter. There are 112 original poems I wrote in this volume in eleven different subject categories that should be loved and enjoyed by everyone. Poetry is one of the greatest arts of persuasion. Poets pour their heart and soul into their work in an effort to trigger emotions in their readers, argue effectively for or against their causes related to everything from social norms or social change, political proponency or criticism, government inadequacy or straying from legal foundations, the economy, love and romance, or problems with nature. As an ardent student of all of these causes on one side or another, I must caution the reader that I lay out my poetry with considerable logic, pound home my points with relish, and argue down the opposition, all with the purpose of engendering contemplation through the art of persuasion.
