I picked up this book because I am working on a project that involves vibration and this book was recommended by one of my professors. It is a great book and starts from the bare basics and slowly builds an understanding in the reader that will allow them to design systems with vibration control in mind.
One thing that I really liked about this book was that it provides "windows" to things that were covered earlier in the book. These serve as refreshers and allow the reader to better understand what is about to be covered.
The math can get pretty heavy in this book and I would recommend it to people who have taken a course in differential equations.
